Hobbes's Story

Here is Hobbes' story...
We got him about six years ago from Animal Control, he was a stray. He was very fearful and timid, but with a lot of work and love from our volunteers, he overcame these issues.
Hobbes must have a 6' high, solid wooden fence. He can climb chain link like a monkey. The second family that had him said he had occasional seizures, although we have not witnessed any. He is a nice dog, kind of quirky personality (you need to meet him to appreciate it) and is a great companion. Okay with dogs and older (10 years +) kids. All of our dogs are available for a $200 donation. This includes them being spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and fully vaccinated.
To adopt a dog, we require an approved pre-application, as well as a securely fenced yard. This means an actual, physical, fence. 'Invisible' fences are not acceptable, sorry. If you live in an apartment and do not have a yard, we are not able to adopt to you.
Please contact us at: dogtownmutts@gmail.com for details.
Please note: we typically do not do 'out of the area' adoptions. This would be any location more than 60 miles away from the Reno/Carson City area.
