Hilda's Story

Hi, I'm Hilda! I'm a 3-year-old, 49-pound Shepherd mix with a calm, easygoing way about me. I've been hanging out here for a little while, so I know the routine pretty well, and I'm a very good girl in my kennel. But when it's time to head outside, I'm always happy to stretch my legs and enjoy some time out.

I'm also something of a doggy welcoming committee around here. I've helped meet and test lots of other dogs, and I do great with them. I'm not the type who needs to turn every moment into a wrestling match. I'm more of a steady companion who enjoys being part of things without making a fuss. Cats, though, are not for me.

I came here through no fault of my own, and I'm ready for the part where I get to settle into a home again. If you're looking for a sweet, well-mannered girl who already has that nice grown-up balance of enjoying her outings and knowing how to relax, I'd love to meet you.

Hilda's adoption fee is $275.
