Hickory's Story

🌟 Meet Hickory — Your New Adventure Buddy! 🌟
Hickory is a sleek, handsome black fella who came to Prairie Paws Rescue from the city pound after sadly going unclaimed. While we can’t say for certain what his breed mix is, he definitely has the charming looks and compact build of a possible French Bulldog mix — weighing in at about 20 pounds of pure energy and personality!
At just 1 year old, Hickory is all about action. This young guy loves to be on the move and is always ready for the next adventure. Whether it’s zooming around the yard, going for walks, or checking out what’s happening in the neighborhood, Hickory is happiest when he has something to do.
Getting a good photo of him has been quite the challenge — most pictures turn out to be a blur because he’s just that busy! But what he lacks in posed portraits, he more than makes up for with his playful spirit and zest for life.
Hickory would thrive with an active family or person who can keep up with his enthusiasm and give him the exercise, structure, and fun he craves. In return, you’ll get a loyal, entertaining companion who will keep life exciting.
Ready to add a little speed, smiles, and spunk to your days? Hickory might just be your perfect match
All medical work is completed prior to adoption including neuter shots worming flea treatment rabies shot kennel cough micro chip and vet examination.
The pre-adoption application is available on the website www.prairiepawsrescue.com.
