HERSHEY - FULLY SPONSORED! $0 TO ADOPT!'s Story
Hi, I'm Hershey!

2 years old | Labrador Retriever mix | 68 pounds

I'm a happy go lucky guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. I came to the shelter with my daughter due to changes in my owner's life circumstances, and now I'm ready for my next chapter.

I'm friendly, playful, and overall well mannered. I'm potty trained, crate trained, and good with kids. I really enjoy being around people and soaking up attention.

I'm dog friendly and do well around other dogs. I've never been around cats before, and I haven't been tested with them yet, but the shelter will update once they know more.

My previous owner shared that I can be a chewer and would sometimes jump the fence and run around to the front door to try to get back inside. Staff believes this is related to separation anxiety rather than wanting to run off. Because of that, a secure fence or keeping me on a leash, regular exercise, structure, and a routine will be best for me and help me stay on track and feel secure.

The good news is I won't go home without support! Staff will send me home with info and tools to help set us up for success.

If you're looking for a well mannered, playful, people loving guy who's ready to be part of your family, submit an application!

Neutered, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.

Adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED by Paul Carpenter in honor of ALIVA & DAWSON for Valentine's Day! 3

If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog

Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours.
