Hershey's Story
Hershey is a delightful 10-month-old Scottish Terrier blend weighing in at just 8 pounds, but her personality is much bigger than her size! She is playful, affectionate, and full of life, with a heart that seems to have room for everyone she meets. Hershey does wonderfully with other dogs and cats and has a special soft spot for children, making her a great fit for many types of families. She also loves her food and will happily enjoy mealtime right by your side. More than anything, Hershey wants to be close to her person—she is a true companion through and through.

Hershey has shown incredible resilience. After being struck by a car, she now experiences brief seizures about once or twice a month, each lasting around 30 seconds. She takes liquid Keppra mixed easily into her food to help manage them. She also has two plates in her jaw from her injuries and requires ointment in her left eye twice a day.

Despite everything she has been through, Hershey remains joyful, loving, and full of spirit. She is ready to bring her big heart into a forever home that will cherish her as much as she deserves.

If you would like to apply to adopt, fill out an application here:

https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/HAMM/25438-dog-adoption-application

Or visit our website: https://stargrouprescue.com/adopt-a-pet/

S.T.A.R.
