Hershey #2's Story
HERSHEY #2 is a 3-year old spayed chocolate female lab, weighs 60 pounds and is up to date on shots. Needs a rural or suburban single-family home with no fence required. Good with dogs and cats. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Need a little sweetness in your life? How about some chocolate? This lovely young lady is full of typical young Lab energy and looking forward to a home that can give her plenty of healthy outlets for it! Hershey soaks up attention like a sponge and happily showers any willing recipient with love. Hershey is a little on the thin side and will need her new family to work with the vet to help her gain weight healthfully. Hershey will need to continue to train with leash-walking (we recommend an EZ-walk harness if she pulls too hard). Thanks to her required training addendum, Hershey's new family will have plenty of help bringing this lovely girl up to speed. She just needs a family with lots of love and patience to help her be the best beautiful girl she can be! If you'd like to add this sweet girl to your family sundae, come meet her today!

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and North Carolina. Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.

Lab Rescue LRCP has more than 60 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to help cover the cost of veterinary care, and a reference check and a home visit is required.
