Hero's Story

If you’ve been holding out for a Hero, now is your chance! Hero is a 2-year-old Rottweiler full of playful energy who would love to be your buddy! Some of Hero’s favorite things are people, toys, playing tug, belly rubs, and being outside. Hero loves other dogs, does well sleeping in his cage overnight and when home alone, and is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Because of Hero’s size and energy, he would do better in a home with older children. Toledo's Pet Bull Project's Adoption Policy

All of our dogs are in foster homes so once you decide on which dog you would like to meet and/or adopt, complete and submit an adoption application, which can be found at www.toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/ (please copy and paste into your browser). Once the application is received, it will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If the applicant meets our adoption criteria, the application will be passed on to the foster who will review it. The foster will then contact you and if you the foster feels the applicant is a good fit for the dog, will make arrangements for you to meet him/her. A home visit is required for all of our adoptions.
