HERO

Hero, about 8 years old, came to Dogtree thanks to many, many lovely volunteers. Hero came to us from Texas from the terrible flash floods in the central part of Texas. The larger shelters seem to be getting outside help however the smaller shelters are reaching out for help. They are having trouble existing and even trouble with the simple things like communication calls. The small shelter in the center of the floods reached out to Dogtree and committed to getting the dogs to us if we could just agree to help them get adopted. A TEAM of volunteers transported Hero and Ralphie from Texas to Prescott over the course of three days and multiple car rides. Hero is calm and wants cuddles. Hero is deaf but doesn't let that bother him. He weighs about 60 pounds and is kind of a picky eater. Hero has really surprised all of us as to how easy he gets around and what a sweet cuddle bug he is with the volunteers and the other pups too.<br/>Est DOB 7.30.17 | Rescued 7.30.2025
