Hero

Hero is a very special boy. He is 3 yrs old. Knows basic commands, loves people, kids, dogs and has been tested with a ferret and sniffed and walked away so we believe he would be fine with all animals. He does not appear to have a prey drive. He is kennel trained, potty trained (still learning to go #2 on a leash). Would do better with a fenced yard but is not required, <br/>This is what his temp foster (there while healing after Neuter) has to say about him: <br/>Kerry's not kidding that he is the bestest boy! Louie and Bala are running around and he listens when I tell him to come by me!! He has the patience of a saint with bratty Bala(foster through another rescue). Hero has made himself at home on one of the dog beds. I literally have a laundry basket full of toys but Bala thinks ALL ARE HERS - no matter which dog has "one of her toys." Hero is not afraid of vacuum cleaners or thunder. He doesn't need to be kenneled. I stopped taking him out to potty on a lead since he listens so well. He also listens when I tell him not to lick his neuter incision so we leave his party pants off when I'm watching him. Hero comes to me for pets and does not bark - even when dogs and their humans walk past the yard. He sleeps on his dog bed in my room. I don't need to tell him to go on his bed. He'll walk in their at times and lay down on his own. I can't find enough great things to say about Hero!
