Be Hero's hero!<br/><br/>Hero is a happy, loving and sweet boy hoping to find a forever family!<br/><br/>Hero was hit by a car over a year ago which gave him a wonky walk but he gets around great! He doesn't require any additional medical care as he's fully healed. He does best on carpet but can manage slicker floors when he isn't super excited. We have large rugs in our living spaces that work great for him! He's such a love and will follow you everywhere, usually with one of his favorite toys in his mouth. Hero loves to chase a ball or a toy but sometimes his front end gets moving faster than his back end can keep up. He has control of his bowels and bladder and is potty trained! So he just needs a loving adopter who realizes he might not walk perfectly but he's perfect for them! <br/><br/>Hero is about 3 years old, vaccinated, neutered, on prevention and microchipped. He's heartworm negative and was given the Proheart 12 shot. We'd love to see this boy find a forever family! He's good with most dogs but he's socially awkward so many dogs don't like him and bouncy puppies will annoy him. He gets jealous of other dogs trying to nose in on snuggletime and he doesn't like them stealing his toys. He'd love to be an only pup but could possibly co-exist with a respectful pup. He has chased cats, especially the outdoor feral cats, so a cat free home is best but he knows leave it with our confident kitties. Hero is house trained, crate trained, does great with people and loves his toys!
