He and his brother Brutus once lived together, but after their owner passed away last year, they both lost their home. The person who stepped in to care for them is no longer able to, and now Herbie is waiting for someone to give him the love and stability he deserves â¤ï ̧

Herbie is deaf and has cerebellar hypoplasia, a condition he’s had since birth. It doesn’t stop him from enjoying life—he just moves a little differently and may need a bit of understanding. When you look into his eyes, it’s clear he just wants love and companionship.

He is house trained, very sweet, and does not destroy things. Herbie loves to play and has a gentle, happy spirit. He gets along well with others, but due to his size and the fact that he can startle when waking up, he would do best in a home with older children. He should not be in a home with cats or small dogs.

Herbie’s brother Brutus is also available for adoption, but they do not need to be adopted together.

Herbie has been through so much change and loss, and now he’s just waiting for someone to give him a chance. He deserves to leave boarding behind and spend his days in a safe, loving home

If you’re ready to open your heart to this special boy, please apply here:

Adopt:

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FPP/Dog

Foster:

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/FPP/Dog
