Meet Henshaw Henshaw is a 2.5 year old Pitbull mix, and he is ready for a second chance. Henshaw is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, is microchipped, and neutered. He was returned to us due to him not getting along with cats. He is an absolute love bug, with so much happiness and joy to share with the world! He loves people and being told what a good boy he is. He's so happy that he does sometimes injure his tail by wagging so hard - but that doesn't slow him down! And hasn't caused any significant problems, especially once he's in a home with more space. He is potty trained, great with kids, other dogs, and all people! He loves toys and treats. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application on our website. Warrick Humane Society's Adoption Policy

The Warrick Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by WHS, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners. We do not adopt out dogs or cats that will be kept outside. We only want loving indoor homes for our pets. We do thorough checks on all of our potential adopters before sending them to their fur-ever home. We also require that if you adopt a pet from us and are no longer able to keep it that it be returned to us, so that we can find it a new home.
