Henry's Story
Introducing Henry!

Henry is a dapper young gentleman. He’s a just about three year old American Cocker Spaniel.

He comes from a domestic abuse situation where he was also included. Because of this, he does come with some issues that are currently being addressed (fear of men, low confidence).

Our boy is good with other dogs but doesn’t necessarily want to live with another dog. We know this is confusing but it really means that in a social situation he is fine but in the home he follows the other dog and has guarded things in the past.

Now to the guarding - Henry has completed a two week board and train program to work out his resource guarding and he is doing great. It is something he’ll need continued work on but we are here to support his training journey!

No kids for Henry. He’d do best in a home with women only but if there is a committed, savvy man out there then he could definitely make that work.

Henry would love a patient, committed home that will go slowly with him and show him a world of structure and trust.
