Henry's Story

Hello there! My name is Henry, and if you're looking for a furry friend who's all about fun, then keep reading. I'm a 3-year-old Black Lab mix, about 68 pounds of pure joy and energy.

My absolute favorite thing in the whole world? Fetch. Seriously, I could play fetch until the sun goes down and then some. Tennis balls are my jam. You'll probably find me trotting around the house with two in my mouth, just in case a spontaneous game breaks out. I'm a big fan of all toys and bones, but I'll admit, I'm a super chewer. So, those fluffy stuffed toys? They're best enjoyed with a human around. My other weakness is cardboard and wood its just so satisfying to chew! So, if you have a recycling bin, make sure its a fortress of solitude.

Car rides are another adventure I love. Just a heads-up, I might try to sneak into the front seat. A doggy seatbelt and hammock combo would be a smart move! A big yard with a fence would be amazing. I could happily live outside all day if you'd let me, but if you're good at getting my energy out with walks and playtime, then a yard isn't a dealbreaker.

Now, if you have tiny humans, I might not be the best fit. I'm a bit clumsy and full of jumping beans, so I might accidentally knock them over. But if you have older kids, I bet we'd be the best of friends! I love all humans, you see. I also do well with other dogs, but I need a slow introduction. I've been living with furry friends and love to play with them! I'm what you might call a goofy lab, a chaotic sweetheart. I'm incredibly sweet, but you do need to be ready for my energy and a little bit of training. I do love to jump and sometimes get into things if I feel a bit forgotten, like borrowing shoes or pillows. It's just my way of saying, "Hey, play with me!"

The good news is, I'm super food motivated and a quick learner. Sit, down, shake I've got those down. I'm also super great in my crate and my foster says I'm very independent...I will definitely let you know when I need to go outside to go potty!

Just give me some exercise and mental stimulation, with some love and cuddles and I'm the best dog you could ask for. I'm truly one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet, just a bundle of enthusiastic love.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
