Henry Shepherd & Labrador Retriever Mix Hot Springs, AR

Thank you for considering a homeless/rescue dog, it does not matter where dogs are from, what matters is where they will live the rest of their life. Our rescue dogs come in all shapes and sizes. They love unconditionally, they don’t judge and they’re extremely loving and loyal.

Henry is waiting for his family his bags are packed. Henry is a handsome shepherd/Lab mix who is equal parts distinguished gentleman and big goofball, he is a complete cuddle bug who ‘thinks’ he’s a lap dog and has no idea that his size says otherwise! He gets really attached to his humans—LOVES THEM with his whole heart.

Henry is a very handsome Shepherd/Lab mix, 45 pounds of wet messy kisses. It is difficult to identify mixed breed dogs without proper knowledge of ancestry; a guess assessment of breed has been made.

He was a stray who originally came from a ‘dumped’ situation and was starving but was lucky enough to be dumped at the house of some good people who fattened him up and got him healthy! He would still be with them except he and his stepbrother (alpha dog) did not get along he prefers female dogs; he is a ladies’ man!

Henry also is great with cats (has lived with several) and has been around children visiting with no issues. He is happy to go for walks and play outside but also content to be a couch potato with you for hours at a time, he’s a perfect mix of playful and lazy! He has had similar sized female ‘sisters’ that he enjoys a good yard romp and wrestle with! He is crate trained although for the most part he currently spends his days basking in the sun and playing with his foster mates, his foster mother works gone most of the day. He is house trained and although he loves a good chew bone occasionally, he is past the puppy stage of chewing up all your shoes! Henry really is just a lovable guy that does not need an equally dominant sibling (preferably no males just to be safe) but really needs some good people to love him.

He is neutered and up to date on shots, heartworm negative, gets monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative, he is ready to go! Are you that person that will be Henry’s hero and his forever home where he could lay his head and call Home Sweet Home!

He is gifted with an outgoing and friendly personality; loves everyone, his loving eyes with a pleading expression asking to “please open your heart and home give him a chance to prove his love” his cute face and eyes say it all! He needs a family who will love, walk, play, and care for me, I am looking ahead waiting for a forever home where I can hang my leash and call “Home, Sweet Home. If you’re looking for a companion, a buddy to love and love you back unconditionally, with a good temperament, good natured with an amazing personality, I am the pooch for you.

Henry’s adoption donation is $75.00 which includes his expenses and vetting, etc. He is up to date on vaccinations; microchipped, neutered, ready for my new home.
