Henry's Story
Henry is officially looking for his forever home!

Since rescuing him from Ridglan Farm, we’re still learning new things about Henry every day. What we know so far is that he’s a gentle, sweet soul who deserves a patient and loving family.

Henry is still working on potty training and can be a little skittish as he is figuring out the world around him. Every day brings something new — toys, treats, soft beds, and learning that humans can be kind and safe. Once he trusts you, he absolutely loves snuggles and curling up in a comfy bed. He is also learning how to walk on leash. A securely fenced yard is ideal for this sweet boy - no electronic fences please!

He would do best in a calm household with older children or adults only. Henry gets along well with cats and would likely thrive with a submissive, confident dog who can continue showing him how fun it is to just be a dog. His ideal family would have breed experience and be very patient, understanding that he will need a lot of time to decompress.

Watching these Ridglan survivors learn how to live normal, happy lives is incredibly special. Henry is ready to join a family willing to give him the time, grace and love he’s never had before.

Apply here: www.pprct.org
