HENRIETTA's Story

Henrietta is fully grown at about 60 pounds. She is almost a year and a half old. One of our volunteers took her to an in-town adoption event recently and had this to say about her: I had the pleasure of taking Henrietta to the PetSmart event today (Saturday, August 22). She happily jumped into my truck and off we went. She initially tried to get into my lap, but I asked her to sit on her side, and she did. She's a good listener. When we got to PetSmart, she was a little excited to get out of the car but still accepted a sit command. We walked around a little, and then settled in next to the door to greet people. She will respond to sit and down commands from just about anyone; that's always a crowd pleaser. When small children - and I do mean small - came up to her (always with parental permission, some asking my permission to pet my dog), she was gentle with them and sometimes washed their faces. Henrietta's adoption fee has been paid for by a special secret someone. She is spayed and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing fee may apply.
