HENNA's Story

I’m currently listed on the Humane Society’s website to help me connect with as many potential adopters as possible. Although I’m available for adoption, I’m not quite ready to go to my forever home just yet as I’m waiting on my spay. Hello. I’d love to meet you! Here's a little about me: Hi! My name is Henna! I'm 3 years old and weigh 63 pounds. I’m an independent, playful girl and can have my own opinions about when its time to go in from a walk or how long you need to pet me. I love to be pet and can be pushy making sure I’m getting enough attention. When I’ve felt enough love, I’ll happily go play with toys or chew on a bone. My favorite pets are neck massages and belly rubs. I'm strong on a leash, so I'll need a strong person at the other end! I can be fearful of loud noises but with a little encouragement I recover quickly. I’m not really fond of crates but I’m well behaved in the house, minus a little countersurfing, so don’t really need one. Best of all I appear housebroken as I have not had any accidents in my foster home. I will need an experienced dog owner to help teach me how to let my best qualities shine and to teach me that a girl can’t always get what she wants. My friends at the shelter taught me sit, and paw and say I may do well with another dog, and you can bring yours in to meet me! A home with teens/adults is recommended. I seem a bit too interested in cats so a home without any feline friends might be best. I’m currently living in a foster home so please email my foster at mavwin@protonmail.com to meet me if you think I’m the girl for you.
