Helios's Story

Meet Helios!

Helios is an almost 2-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and loyalty! This sweet boy is truly one of a kind, and he`s ready to find his forever family; a special home where he can receive the patience, understanding, and guidance he needs to fully blossom. Helios has so much love to give, and with the right adopters, he will shine as a devoted, affectionate companion for years to come.

Helios can be a little shy when meeting new people, so he would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home where he can build confidence at his own pace. With consistent, loving, and patient guidance, Helios grows more relaxed each day, showing off his gentle and devoted nature. He bonds deeply with those he trusts, and once he feels safe, he becomes the ultimate snuggle buddy and loyal friend who will stand by your side through thick and thin.

This sweet boy would do best in a home with respectful children ages 13 and up, as he benefits from a calm, predictable environment where he can feel secure. Helios has a higher energy level and enjoys active play, especially a spirited game of tug-of-war, but he also loves to unwind and relax with his favorite person once he feels comfortable in his surroundings.

Helios is still learning some house training and crate skills, but he is intelligent and eager to please, making him a quick learner with the right guidance. He also has some special digestive needs, and our team is happy to provide all the details to help ensure he stays healthy and happy.

Helios is truly a wonderful boy with so much love to give. He is searching for adopters who understand his needs and are excited to invest the time and patience required to help him flourish. If your heart has already been captured by this sweet, loyal, and affectionate boy, apply today to meet this handsome guy or reach out to us at dogs@centrecountypaws.org with any questions!

PA Kennel License #3891
