Hela's Story

I’m a petite white husky with a calm soul and an adventurous heart. My foster thinks I’m closer to 2 years old than 4 because my teeth are sparkling clean. I’m loving life right now and settling in beautifully.

I adore going on hikes and exploring outside. I walk like a dream on leash and don’t react to dogs or anything passing by. I’ve gotten along with every pup I’ve met so far and have the sweetest, most laidback personality. My foster says I could probably be trained to hike off leash one day since I’m so well mannered already.

I’m just starting to learn about crates, and I’m doing great with it. I’m fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. Whether you're looking for a snuggly buddy or a trail partner, I’m ready for all the love and adventure you can give. Come meet me — I think we’ll be a perfect match. Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter” due to the higher training and care needs typical of northern breeds. We recommend researching huskies before applying if you're new to the breed!
