Heidi's Story
Heidi is a 1-2 year old chihuahua mix who was abandoned with other dogs in a field. She was pregnant when brought into the local shelter, and went to a foster and had her puppies. All of her puppies have been adopted, and now Heidi is with a new foster looking for her forever home. A word of caution, Heidi will need someone who is willing to work with her on her scared behavior and be extremely patient with her. She wants love, she just doesn't trust people yet. Her foster is working with her daily to gain her trust and says she is very sweet, but also scared. With some work and patience, Heidi would make a great companion for a quiet home.
