Heidi Borneo (CONC-A-84)'s Story
DOB: 11/27/2023

Meet Heidi, a sweet and shy girl with a beautiful mix of Husky and possibly Hound, currently about a year old. Heidi has been with us since she was just a puppy and has grown up in a shelter environment, which means she can be a bit reserved around unfamiliar faces. She tends to take her time warming up to strangers but once she feels comfortable, her playful and affectionate nature shines through.

Heidi shares a deep, unbreakable bond with her sister, Harper, and the two are nearly inseparable. While we typically don't adopt siblings out together, these girls have proven time and time again that they are better together. Heidi often looks to Harper for guidance and confidence, and together, they love to be active, running for hours in the backyard—a true testament to their Husky heritage.

Heidi would thrive in an active home with plenty of room to run and explore, and one that understands that she and Harper will take time adjusting to a home setting. They’ve never known life outside of a shelter, so a patient, understanding family that can provide structure, consistency, and the space to let off some of their abundant energy would be ideal. They would do best in a mature home, or one that doesn't have small children. A meet and greet would be needed with any potential canine siblings.

If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will love you with all her heart (especially with her sister by her side), Heidi just might be the perfect fit! Give us a call at (704) 784-7387 to set up a meet-and-greet.

*Husky experience is required.
