HEIDI's Story

HEIDI is a 7 year old Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler). She weighs 34 pounds. She is true to her breed in that she is very smart and athletic. She is house trained and very easy to teach. She knows her basic commands and is an outstanding leash walker. She is ready to be someone’s very loyal companion. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccines. Animal Lovers of Edisto Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

Anyone wishing to adopt one of our dogs or puppies should contact our Adoption Team at edistoaloe@gmail.com to request an adoption application and to meet a dog. They will set up a date and time for you to meet the dog or puppy and email you an adoption application. Meetings are generally scheduled from 10am to dark, seven days a week as volunteers are available to meet with you. Sometimes a dog can be brought to your home. Because we are located on private property all visits to meet our rescues are on a scheduled basis.
