HEATH's Story

My friends describe me as: Friendly, curious and goofy! MEET HEATH! This handsome southern gentleman is ready to find a loving home for the new year! Heath is slowly adjusting to the cold temperatures of his new life up north and that hasn't stopped him from sticking his nose to the ground and exploring anything new he comes across... before it gets too cold that is! He loves to spend his days eating all the food he can get, playing with his toys and fellow canine friends, and then taking a nice long nap after a hard day at work, what a life! He will need to be taught all of the puppy basics. Come meet Heath in Brewster! Heath is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Heath or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
