HI! My name is Hazelnut-- Hazel for short— If you are looking for a fun and playful addition to your family, then I am the pup for you! I am full of spunk and curiosity and always ready for a new adventure. I am herding mix breed (possibly Aussie x Kelpie) so I’m smart as a whip and love to learn new tricks. I would excel in puppy training classes and doggy sports like agility. Once I have exhausted my puppy energy, I enjoy snuggling up with my favorite person for a long nap. I really enjoy playing with my 4-legged foster siblings and would love it if my forever home had another dog for me to live with. Because of my breed, I would not be a good fit for a home with small/young children. Older (> 8 yr old), dog savvy kids would be OK. I am house-broken, crate-trained and walk like a pro on a leash. I am spayed and up-to-date on my vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org
