Hazelnut's Story

Meet Hazelnut! This pocket pittie is about two years old, maybe 33 lbs, and READY to find her forever family. Hazelnut is playful, snuggly, and will be happiest as your one and only pet.

Still a young pup, Hazelnut is playful and silly, quite a charming little doggie. She will be a loving and snuggly companion in her future home, and indeed she is quite the little furnace when she snuggles up to you - perfect for the cold winter months. She's got the cutest wrinkly face and sometimes her upper lip gets stuck behind her teeth on one side. Adorable.

Hazelnut loves to go on walks and play with her stuffies. She has been introduced to both cats and other dogs and we're pretty confident she will thrive best as an only pet, although we are still working on her manners walking around other dogs in a training class. We also recommend Hazelnut go to a home without younger children. We know we are limiting the options for Hazelnut's future home by asking for her to be the only pet, and for adopters without younger children, but we know this will improve her chances of success long-term and ensure her future family to be as happy with her as she is with them.

Interested in meeting Hazelnut?
