We knew she had heartworms, but blood work showed she was also infected with Lyme disease and because of her chest x-ray, we also suspect Blastomycosis- a terrible fungal infection. She is only 15lbs but is in the best foster home--committed to helping her recover as they have helped other IBR Beagles through our Heartworm Slow-kill program.

We are looking for a loving foster to adopt home for little Miss Hazel that can continue to help her get stronger and recover. Chicago area would be best in case we need to do some repeat testing in the future.

If you would like to help, please copy and paste this link
http://illinoisbirddogrescue.org/foster_app.html to submit a foster to adopt home application.
You can also call Lisa@ 630-694-1359
