Hazel's Story
My name is Hazel (Canary), a Shepherd/Pit mix that was born in September 2023. I was adopted as a puppy and returned for not getting along with the other dogs in the home. I would require a meet and greet with all dogs in the home and might need further training/boundaries set when with other dogs. I will guard my toys and bones from other dogs but not with people per my owner's. I lived with children and was great with them so I'd really like a little human to call my own. I have been spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped, wormed, on heartworm prevention, and tested negative for heartworms.<br/><br/>Note: To adopt, you must live within approximately 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age.<br/><br/>Note: Selective with dogs.
