Hazel's Story

Hazel is quite the lovely gal!

She brings that positive, calm energy that helps you center yourself and realize what is actually important in life. Like, spending time with those you love - especially with a wonderful canine confidante.

Hazel is 3 years old, and she's a social and loving pittie/Staffordshire Terrier mix who is 85 pounds of sweetness. She is a friend to all people, and she gets along great with kids of all ages. She's also good with other dogs. Hazel probably doesn't know how to dislike any person or dog.

This lady is docile, quiet, cuddly and mellow. She would do great in any home that wants to love on a dear-heart, cute doggie. It's a tough assignment, but somebody's gotta do it, ha ha.

Hazel doesn't have to sit around snuggling all the time (though she wouldn't mind a lot of that!). She likes to play with the squeaky stuffie toys, and she walks well on a leash, so you can head outside together too. She knows some basic commands and has a pretty good sense of what her people expect of her. She gets occasional zoomies, but she's overall calm. She does some really cute things that will make you smile, especially when you need it!

At night, Hazel sleeps contentedly on the couch. She is house trained as well.

Hazel is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Her adoption fee is $175. If you need the comfort of a cute and loving companion, here she is. Apply to adopt her today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org!

APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org

Pawsitive Tails's Adoption Policy
Pawsitive Tails is dedicated to matching the needs and personality of our dogs with your family. We are not in a hurry to adopt out our dogs; we want to make sure the match is perfect for everyone. All of the dogs in our rescue live in foster homes with both the human and furry members of our families. Our adoption process begins with an application which can be found under the "adopt" tab on our website, www.pawsitivetailskc.org. Please complete the form in full; the questions we ask help us to fully understand what type of dog you are looking for, and to make sure you get the very best fit. Incomplete applications will not be processed. If you do not include a vet phone number, a landlord phone number (if applicable), or 3 complete references, we cannot process your application. We will contact your Veterinarian, so please make sure to call them to release your vet history to our volunteer. &nbs
