Hazel's Story

Meet Hazel!
Hazel was left at a small rescue in the South when she was just a month old, missing out on all the cozy comforts of home. Before coming to Tails a few weeks ago, she had never known what it felt like to have a family to call her own-she'd never curled up in a soft bed on a chilly night, felt cool AC on a muggy summer day, or experienced holiday magic like Christmas trees and New Year's countdowns. Hazel deserves all of these special moments and every little comfort we so often take for granted.
Now that she's experiencing home life for the first time, Hazel is proving to be an absolute sweetheart who is always on her best behavior. She is a gentle, sleepy girl who loves having her own cozy spot and walks with great confidence on a leash. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is completely trustworthy when left home alone-no crate needed, as she never chews or messes with anything.
Because living in a house is still brand new, Hazel is happily learning the ropes. She has already mastered peeing outside and is just working on finishing up the rest of her potty training. Hazel is so ready to spend the rest of her life celebrating all her upcoming "firsts" with a loving forever family. If you're ready to show this sweet girl how wonderful a home can be, Hazel can't wait to meet you!
She's currently staying in a foster home because this girl deserves to know a home - if you are interested in meeting Hazel, please email info@tailshumanesociety.org
