Hazel's Story

Hazel is a super nice, younger dog, medium size, she is more the submissive type. Would love a nice playmate at her age, exercise is key. She makes a good companion, when you take her out for walks, we unleash her as she never runs away, sticks by you and basically is more interested in being loved on than running around. Good family dog but training is important here. We love that she doesn't have a strong prey drive since we're a predominantly cat shelter and we can trust her. This is also good for other dogs. Ideal home has a fenced in yard, a younger dog for her to play with and a family with an active lifestyle. Heavenly Pet Sanctuary's Adoption Policy

Applicants need to fill out an adoption application, have a phone interview to go over the application, application is then processed; after approval appointment is made to visit the pet(s) and pick them up if desired. Adoption fee is paid when pets are picked up. An adequate size of pet taxi is mandatory so that the pet can stand up and turn around. A house visit may be requested if the applicant lives locally.
