Hazel

Meet Hazel, a 2-year old petite (45 lbs) German Shepherd mix that was saved from euthanasia. Upon leaving the shelter, she began showing us how special she is: snuggly, smart, silly, and very attached to her humans. Hazel knows sit, listens well, rides beautifully in the car, and loves calmly watching the world through the window. She has adorable puppy-ish energy, wants to be chased, and after a little protest about bath time, decided belly lathers in the sunshine were actually pretty wonderful. She also has the cutest little bonus feature: double dewclaws on both back feet, which makes her extra special from nose to toes. With people, she is pure Velcro sweetness — she even hugged her humans leg at the vet because she didnt want them to leave. She gets along with other dogs, but can be selective, so slow, proper introductions are very important. Hazel is currently available for foster-to-adopt until she is spayed.
