Hi, Im Hazel and I am a sweet, snuggly goofball! Everyone comments about my mismatched ears one stands up, one flops down. My foster mom calls me velcro girl because Im such a snugglebug. I am intrigued by snow, but NO THANK YOU to bitey windchill! I love exploring and giving surprise-attack kisses, and I have adorable twitchy dreams. I am potty trained! I am still a puppy and can't quite hold it for eight hours yet, but I work hard to wait until Im taken outside, and can last six hours without an accident. I go in my kennel without complaint if you throw a chewy treat in for me. I generally settle down quickly, but if you're still within sight/hearing range when I finish my treat I will give out a little bark. At night I sleep soundly in my kennel. I have mastered sit and am working on stay, leave it, up, down and shake. I would LOVE taking a training class with you as I love attention, treats and praise, and I am eager to meet other dogs. Since I am still a puppy, I am very into chewing on things, but Im easily redirected if the thing isn't for me. I have a sweet prancy trot if you tell me that Im a good girl on a walk, with grand-jetes and pirouettes to celebrate pooping! My biggest motivators are treats, praise, chew/squeaky toys, and quality time playing fetch. I now live with three kids and I just love them! They are between the ages of 7 months and 5 years old. I like to give them sweet kisses and they love to pet me and get me to follow them around the house. Sometimes I accidentally step on them, but Im learning how to be gentle. I also now live with a 9-year-old pitbull. He is really great! We play a lot and then we take lots of naps. He also helps me to be brave and go outside when its really cold. Some other fun facts about me: Why are you the very best dog in the whole world?I am playful and curious, but also really snuggly and easy-going. Im the best of both worlds! And it's impossible to resist the charm of my ears! What would your dream day consist of?I would do lots of playing with kids and other dogs. Id like a nice long walk or run and then some solo time chewing a bone, a few rounds of fetch in the afternoon, and an evening full of snuggles in front of the TV before bed. If you're willing to have dogs in the bed, I would LOOOOOOOOVE to be a bedtime cuddlebug, too! What are some of your favorite toys?I really love chewing on bones and other chew toys. I also love squeaky toys, soft plush toys, ropes, balls, really anything! Play all day or cuddles and snoozes?A healthy mix of both! What makes your body wiggle and your tail wag harder than anything?Attention from people! Give me a description of your dream forever family.I would love to live with kids, or really anybody with attention and snuggles to offer! A yard would be great for extended sessions or fetch, but I'd be equally happy if you leash me up to come with you on a run.
