Hazel's Story

Hazel is on the younger side of senior and at 68 lbs, a gentle soul and an incredible dog. After a lifetime of neglect, she initially needed quite a bit of TLC in foster. Now happy and healthy, she is so loving and appreciative of the good life! Hazel loves to sun in the backyard, chase squirrels, and go on walks. She is fully house trained and very well behaved. She would do well in a home with or without another dog. She is great with other dogs; patient with the youngsters but would be happiest co-existing with a calmer dog. Hazel takes a monthly injection for her hips and, though she is very spritely and gets around great, a home with few stairs would be better in her golden years.

If you are looking for an older, easy, and well-mannered companion- Hazel might very well be your soul mate!
