Hazel's Story

Hazel was born on November 19, 2025. She weighs 2 lbs. She has received a vet check up which she passed with flying colours and was given her first vaccine. She was also wormed.
Hazel is part of a litter of 4 puppies. Their mother is a purebred long haired chihuahua (see her pic included) and her father is a short hair chi.

These puppies were bred by what we call a “kitchen breeder”, who bred her unaltered family pets to supplement the family’s monthly welfare cheque. The town authorities condemned their dilapidate rental rural dwelling and forced the family to relocate. They had no other alternative than to move in with relatives and had no choice but to call for our rescue’s help to take in 6 pups from 3 different litters.

On the bright side, Hazel and the other pups are very well socialized as the breeder’s teenage children cuddle and handle the new born pups with loving care as soon as they open their eyes. The adults dogs are family house pets and are equally well socialized. Fortunately none of them ever experienced any kind of physical or psychological abuse so the pups and their parents all have a well balanced temperament and an excellent disposition.

ABOUT HAZEL: Hazel is an absolute sweetheart. Cuddly, gentle, a total love bug. She is interactive, curious and interested in everything that is going on around her. She is smart and showing great aptitude to training. This adorable little gal will make an excellent addition to any dog loving family.
She too is all set and ready to receive the love and exclusive attention from an adoptive family.

Please note: because the pups are so small and will be toy size at adulthood, we will only consider applications from families with children 12 years or older.
