Meet Hazel - ADOPTED!!
Hazel has been in her SC foster home almost a week now, and is being fostered in a home with 4 other large dogs. She does great as part of the pack and loves to play. She was introduced first to the most selective dog in the home, Clarysse, who took to Hazel right away, and they were instant buddies. If Clarysse approves of you, the rest of the pack does too.
While Hazel was a little timid at first after coming into a new home, she quickly settled in. She is crate trained, housetrained, and has a medium energy level. She loves stuffed critters, loves to play, and really enjoys the company of other dogs. While she's good with people, Hazel would rather be playing with a dog, so having a dog playmate in her next home is a priority.
Her foster mom describes her as very sweet and puppyish in her ways. She's working on her leash walking skills in her foster home and learning basic commands. We think Hazel will make a great family dog and pup companion. She will be making her way to N. VA in early February.
More updates to follow as we learn more about this adorable, fun pup.
***Preference will be given to homes with another young playful pup, and some large dog or bully breed experience***
