She is a 13-year-old Shepherd mix with a gentle spirit and so much love to give.<br/><br/>She would do best as the only dog in the home, though she can get along with other dogs given a slow and patient introduction. The family of the former owner said she was attacked as a puppy by another dog, so she can be a bit cautious around new friends, which is completely understandable. In her foster home, she has lived peacefully with multiple cats.<br/><br/>Hayley absolutely adores people and greets everyone she meets with enthusiasm and affection. While she hasn’t been around children before, we believe she would do well with respectful kids due to her loving nature.<br/><br/>Hayley has Cushing’s disease and requires daily medication, along with additional support for her kidney and liver to manage side effects.
