Hayes's Story

No
Need another dog in the home? No
Location: Galena, OH
Energy level (high/med/low)? Med
Bio:

Hayes is your typical female GSD. Once she trusted me with about 2 weeks worth of patience and some behavior meds, she's become a stage 5 clingon. She'd rather spend her time by myside than be with the other dogs in training.

Her story is the same as her non bonded sibling, Woody. Owner surrendered them almost 2 years ago and have been bouncing around fosters since. They came to Wolfman's Canines in July and have had some intensive training and socialization since then.

Hayes doesn't have a whole lot of toy drive, although will play fetch occasionally. She has yet to meet other unfamiliar dogs aside from opposite sides of the fence. She could probably coexist with another established male dog or a young puppy given the right communication.

She is VERY affectionate and can come off like a needy partner. She is crate and long term confinement trained. I would suggest a well built crate for her new people until she gets used to her forever home. She had some issues with being separated from Woody when they first got here. That has COMPLETELY gone away.

Hayes would do well with someone experienced with GSD's. An active lifestyle with room to run and roam would be ideal. Untested with cats and small animals. She walks pretty good on leash and will follow me everywhere in our 10,000 sq ft training arena.

Hayes also LOVES to swim!

Hayes comes with 3 FREE 1-1 training sessions from Wolfman's Canines, and a $1000 training voucher towards the purchase of a 4 week extended Board and Train, which also includes 3 additional 1-1 sessions.

***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES.
