Meet Haven <br/><br/>Age: ~2 years<br/>Spayed: Yes<br/> Oklahoma City, OK<br/><br/>Haven almost didn't make it.<br/><br/>She arrived at Tulsa Animal Services heartbreakingly thin, and her deadline was Monday, June 29th at 6 PM. We saw her, we couldn't look away, and we made sure she didn't run out of time.<br/><br/>She is safe now. And she is thriving.<br/><br/>In just a little over a week in foster care, Haven has gone from 40 pounds to over 51 - gaining weight, finding her feet, and showing everyone exactly who she is. Turns out, she's a lot. She plays with everything in reach, including the water bowl, which she empties and throws around the yard like a personal toy. She is silly, spirited, and absolutely full of life.<br/><br/>Despite everything she went through, Haven has not a single bitter bone in her body. She knows sit, is treat motivated, loves affection, and will lean into you and rub against your legs just to be close. She is great with small children and other dogs, house trained, and comfortable in a crate - she goes in on her own and just... relaxes there.<br/><br/>Leash skills are still being assessed while she continues to build strength, but her spirit and personality? Already fully intact.<br/><br/>Haven came in far too thin.
