Haven’s story started with a deadline. At just 9 months old, she found herself in a shelter, sick with parvo and running out of time. With nowhere safe to quarantine her, her life was set to end at 5 PM. Ozzy’s Oasis hadn’t even officially launched yet. We weren’t ready for our first intake—but Haven couldn’t wait for us to be ready. So we said yes.<br/><br/>She became the very first dog rescued under Ozzy’s Oasis Animal Rescue, and after fighting through parvo, refusing food, vet visits, fluids, medications and some very long days, Haven showed us exactly how badly she wanted to be here.<br/><br/>And now? She’s ready to LIVE.<br/><br/>Haven is truly one of those dogs you can picture doing just about anything with you. She’s crate trained, potty trained, dog friendly, cat friendly and has absolutely adored every human she’s met. We haven't seen her around children yet, but this girl has yet to meet a stranger. She loves going on leash walks, playing with toys with her foster siblings and being included in whatever adventure is happening that day.<br/><br/>Looking for a best friend for your current pup? The one you load into the car because you're going somewhere and, naturally, she's coming too.<br/><br/>Her first chapter was about surviving. We want the rest of her story to be about living. <br/><br/>If you've been looking for your adventure buddy, your copilot, your walking partner, your couch companion and your four-legged best friend all wrapped into one perfectly medium-sized package— Haven might just be your girl. <br/><br/>Haven is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, fecal negative and will be spayed & microchipped on Oct 20th. You can pre-apply for Haven prior to her surgery, and can take her home as early as Oct 21.
