Hattie's Story

Say hello to our newest little lady, Hattie!
Hattie is a purebred Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heller) just 4 months old. She’s absolutely adorable and has the cutest little stand up ears!
Hattie will require a breed experienced home because beyond all that cuteness is a highly intelligent, working dog who will absolutely need proper socialization and training to become a well adjusted member of a new family.

Due to the nature of this breed, we prefer to place Hattie in a home with no small children or cats in order to give her the best opportunity to succeed. Cattle dogs are bred for their herding prowess and their intelligence. They can get along with other dogs if exposed and socialized well at a young age. They are a great fit for a home ready to put them to work through obedience challenges, agility training, herding etc.

If interested in adopting this dog, please submit an application at www.realdogrescue.org or by accessing the following link:

https://fs29.formsite.com/RDR1/AdoptionApp/index.html

Real Dog Rescue welcomes the opportunity to help you find your new best friend. Adopting a dog is a wonderful chance to save a life, and we understand that by beginning your search for your new canine companion, you are preparing to make a big commitment. We are ready to help you get started in the right direction. Our staff is knowledgeable in dog behavior and breed traits and can assist you in determining the right fit for your home and your needs.

All of our dogs and puppies available for adoption have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed and micro-chipped, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
