Hattie's Story

Hattie is living in a foster home. Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized

More about Hattie:
Housebroken: Yes!
Crate Trained: Does fine free roam. Also respects a baby gate in a puppy safe area. Has no issues being left alone.
Leash walking: She has shown sensitivity and reactivity to other dogs, people, and noises on leash and would benefit from continuing to work on this with positive reinforcement, and in a quieter neighborhood
Dog social: She has lived with other dogs in the past but has not interacted closely with other dogs while in our care
Cat social: Unknown
Kid friendly: Unknown

Hattie likes:
- Gently booping your hand when she wants more pets
- Enjoying a good chew toy
- Snuggling with you

Hattie is a cuddly, good-natured girl who just wants a place to cuddle with her people. A comfort queen, her favorite thing is getting pets from her people in a cozy spot. She is always grunting to communicate and has one that sounds exactly like 'uh huh'; it makes us laugh every time. She LOVES food and is very polite about waiting for it. We are also so proud of how far Hattie has come in her foster home and she has worked on being less nervous. Her food motivation also means she's willing to learn and easy to train. She gets better every day!

Hattie's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter, and she is eager to find her perfect forever home!

Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/

*** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program.
