Harvey's Story

Harvey joined our RMG family, along with his “brothers” Monty and Junior, when their person passed away. Monty had been adopted from RMG as a puppy, so in keeping with our “no one gets left behind” policy when we took in Monty we of course took in all 3 dogs. <br/><br/>Harvey is definitely the most chill of the bunch. He's great with all dogs and previously lived with cats. But before anyone asks - we have no idea what breed he is! He's got short little legs on his low rider body that just make him that much more adorable. And despite the dusting of “sugar” on his face - Harvey is only about 3 years old! <br/><br/>Interested in adopting, or even fostering, Harvey? Rescue Me Ga Inc's Adoption Policy

We have an application process that we require for any adoption. The application can be found on our website at www.rmgdogs.org - its the first step in our process and required before we set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in …. ALL of our dogs are completely vetted - all vaccines - spay or neuter - dewormings - chip - heart worm tested and treated if needed and ready to be loved. WE are foster based which means our dogs are in homes or temporary boarding when we rescue them -- we know their personalities and what would be their best fit! Our dogs come from a rural Georgia shelter and often we take in surrenders from families facing difficult situations….. WE do post many dogs still in need at animal control as well as all who have been saved already that are in foster homes. We do NOT operate a facility where you can visit the dogs unless you contact us to possibly meet one already in a foster

RESCUE ME GEORGIA is a 501c3 non profit rescue group dedicated to saving dogs from a small rural shelter and county outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Since our start November of 2011, we have saved more than 5000 animals in need and have been able to be a part of so many lives changed!
