Harvey

Harvey is a senior gentleman who has had a run of bad luck with his people. Unfortunately, his last two owners became too ill to continue to care for him. He is a 14-year-old Pomeranian with the energy of a much younger dog. He loves to eat, too much actually and will need to be carefully watched with his diet. He needs to slim down to get back to his healthy weight. He does NOT like to be picked up, but other than that, he loves being with his humans and will hold entire conversations with you if you have the time. He gets along well with other dogs, and even has a cat in his current foster home and has no problems with her. He seems to get along well with older children. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and is looking for his final forever home. Despite being bounced around with so many changes, he still has a happy smile on his face. <br/><br/>He would be a perfect companion for a senior who likes to take walks, and he would love a fenced in yard to run in.
