Hello, I'm Harvey. I am a 9 year old lab mix and if I do say so myself, I am smart as whip. I'm already house-trained and well-behaved in a home. I even know a few tricks like sit, shake, and beg! I'm a sweet soul, mellow and chill, just like a cool breeze on a sunny day. I'm loyal too, once I trust you, I'll be your best friend for life. I prefer a quiet home, no pets or kids, just us, enjoying the simple pleasures of life together. I'm a bit body sensitive, so gentle pats and kind words are great. I do love a good belly rub as well. I'm not asking for much, just a peaceful place to call home. Will you give a senior dog like me a chance? I promise, I'll fill your life with love and loyalty.

At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.
