Meet Harriet, a 9-month-old Lab/Staffy blendwith a curious mind and the softest heart. Just like her namesake from Harriet the Spy, she's always observing the world around her, nose to the ground and tail wagging as she gathers important intel (mostly about squirrels and new smells). Harriet loves going on adventures, whether it's a neighborhood walk or a bigger mission outdoors, but her favorite assignment is cuddle duty. Falling in love with a pet is easy to do and having their companionship can be very rewarding. Adopting a pet, however, is a big decision requiring a lot of time, money and commitment. RVHS encourages you to think through your decision before you adopt a companion animal. If you want to adopt a pet and you rent a home, you will need a statement from the owner that a pet is allowed. We accept adoption applications on a first come, first serve basis, unless a pet has needs that require specific qualities in a home.
