Meet Harriet
Please meet Ms. Harriet! Harriet is a Miniature Poodle, approximately 10 years young, and weighs in at 14 lbs.
Harriet is all around a great dog. She is potty trained, loves her crate, ignores the cat in her foster home, gets along with other dogs, enjoys car rides and loves kids. How much better can she get?! She navigates the yard (once she learns it) and comes to the foster’s door and lets them know she is done and wants to come in. She loves being outside in the sun, laying in the grass and getting belly rubs.
As with any senior she does have some medical issues. Harriet is totally blind but don’t let that fool you. She was able to navigate her fosters house and yard in a matter of hours. Harriet does have a heart murmur and will be on two medications for the rest of her life. She also has very few teeth left (recent dental) and is on a soft food diet but that doesn’t stop her from eating hard dog food when she can steal a piece or two!
If you would like to give Harriet a soft place to land for her senior years and you are needing a sofa buddy please stop and consider this little lady!
If you would like to be considered for the adoption of Harriet, please go to our website at www.wagstorichesanimalrescue.org and fill out an application to adopt. Please be sure to include a vet reference as regular vet care is important to us for the health of all our adopted dogs. With approval and a $150 Golden Paws adoption donation, she will be ready to accompany you on all of life’s many adventures. Harriet is spayed, microchipped, fecal tested clean of internal parasites and up to date on all her vaccinations.
