Harper's Story

Harper is an approximately 10 month old, spayed female, American Pit Bull Terrier mix; Harper is fully vaccinated, including for Rabies, is microchipped, and weighs approximately 50lbs. This exuberant youngster has a lot of energy, and a lot of love, to share with an active family! This girl gets a serious case of wiggle butt when she’s happy or excited, and then it’s not long before she’s doing zoomies all around the yard, stopping only long enough to make sure we’re all paying attention to her before she zooms off again! Harper does have a lot of energy, so we try to give her as much activity and exercise as possible, including walks, and playtime in the yards, and she will need a family that’s able to engage her with regular, daily, activities and walks, as well. Harper is equally energetic with showing affection, and sometimes she gets so excited when she sees someone she loves that she’ll do anything she can to give them lots of kisses, even if it means jumping in their lap! We have been working with Harper on her manners, basic obedience training, and walking on a leash, and we have made progress with her, but she will need continued obedience training for socialization, and to help her reach her full K-9 potential. Harper is also strong, and strong-willed, so she will need an owner who has experience handling large/strong dogs. If you’re interested in giving lil Miss Harper the loving forever home that she needs and deserves, please come in and meet her!
