Harper's Story

Harper is a Catahoula/pit mix that smiles a BIG smile all the time (the picture is her smile) and she is around 50 pounds. She came to us along with her 6 litter mates, mom, and 2 other dogs from a serious neglect case when she was 3 months old. Harper is now 1 and a half years old and has spent the majority of her life in our shelter. She is a very smart dog that loves all people and gets along with other dogs. Her siblings that have been adopted out already get wonderful raves from their new families. She loves to play, loves to be by your side but can also chill out and relax with you. Rides in a car well, walks on a leash decent but will need some work on being housetrained. Harper can climb a fence so she would need to be watched at first until she gets familiar with your area. If you are ready for a new best friend for you and your family then Harper is your dog. She is fully vetted and been spayed. Harper has recently been diagnosed with heartworm. She has started her treatment.
