Harper's Story

Name: Harper
Age: 9 Months
Gender: Female
Breed: Coonhound Mix
Weight: 34.9Ibs

Harper is the definition of silly, playful, and just plain FUN. She’s a young girl with a happy spirit and absolutely no identifiable vices — truly just a good dog looking for her people.

She’s easy to handle, does great for vetting, and we haven’t seen any food aggression. In her kennel she’s quiet for the most part, and on leash she walks relatively well — especially for a young pup who still gets excited about the world around her.

Harper is very interested in other dogs and would love a canine friend. She’s still figuring out exactly how to initiate play (bless her heart), but the interest is definitely there. With a confident, playful dog buddy, she’ll likely blossom even more.

Her finder had her for the weekend and reported that she was a wonderful house guest. She got along well with cats, didn’t mind their dog (even though their dog wasn’t her biggest fan), and even saw horses — she simply watched them with curiosity. No drama, no chaos — just Harper taking it all in.

She’s affectionate, adaptable, and ready to bring some joyful energy into a home of her own.

Adoption questionnaire & information: https://www.waynedogshelter.org/adoption-questionnaire

Sponsor her $130 spay here: https://client.pointandpay.net/web/WayneCoDogShelterOH/
